The School offers a broad general secondary curriculum. In grade 8 and 9, where the aim is to introduce students to a wide range of subjects. Each pupil is expected to take a total of 12/13 subjects of which 9 are core and compulsory; 2 are elective and, 2 compulsory and non - examinable. At this level, we offer the Zambian Syllabus. This is to enable those that might elect to leave Chalo after grade 9 to go back to the government or other schools, where the requirement for anyone to sit the grade 12 examination is a grade 9 Certificate.

From Grade 10 to Grade 12, pupils focus on the International General Certificate of Secondary Education ( IGCSE ) curriculum. This is a Cambridge based based programme which allows students to go to any University in the world. At this level pupils are required to take a minimum of 8 examinable and 2 non - examinable. Games and physical education...

Physical education will be taught as part of the curriculum during morning sessions. The school will establish excellent sporting facilities with a full-sized soccer pitch, a tarmac netball court, There will also be a tennis courts, a basketball pitch and volleyball pitches.

CTS secondary school section is well known for its sporting achievements and, in recent years, has won inter-school events at soccer, cross-country and athletics. It is envisaged that the primary school will be modeled to do the same. The annual inter- house athletics and Cross country competitions are very popular with parents and children alike.

EXTRA-CURRICULUM ACTIVITIES
An extensive program of extra –curriculum activities is offered to the primary pupils in the afternoon to pupils from grade 3 upwards. Planned activities vary from the sporting to the artistic to the academic. Sporting activities include swimming, football, netball, tennis, volleyball, basketball and table tennis. Attendance in the afternoon is voluntary but all children are encouraged to avail themselves to at least two of the offered activities.
